CENTRAL SPORTS FACILITY ICE RINK AND ICE TRACK
Located
on Central Sports Facility territory in Zakopane, the biggest (1800
m
2)
and fastest ice rink in Podhale, is the ever popular sports location
for ice skating fans. Additionally, guests can use a professional ice
track – in case there are no training sessions held at the moment.
It is the highest situated and fastest artificial ice track in
Poland, reaching 932 MASL. Its construction was started in 1950’s,
ending in year 1956. Since its opening till 2007, it functioned as
natural track (natural freezing). In year 2008, a 18,6 million
renovation for artificial freezing was finished. Right next to the
track, a locker room, skates rental and, sanitary and cafe are
available.

TATRA ICE GÓRNA RÓWIEŃ KRUPOWA
Tatra
Ice Rink is situated in the very center of Zakopane, on Upper Równia
Krupowa, right next to Krupówki street. Its surface counts up to 600
m
2
and can be used by even 150 people simultaneously. Central spot gives
great view on Tatry. It’s possible to use one’s own skates, but
modern, professional rental is also available, with high-tech Roxa
skates in all different sizes – men, women and children. Kids can
also borrow helmets and newcomers can practice with bear-shaped ice
walkers. For smallest kids we have 4-skid skates. Also, skate
sharpening service is available.

The rink is artificially frozen, so its
possible to use it despite the weather.
Other than this, special
pass for school youth reduces prices for 50%. Our happy hours are
from 9:00 to 12:00.
